Former BBC Consultants Undergo Members of Parliament's Inquiry Following Claims of Partiality in Unauthorized Document

Previous BBC consultants speaking before parliamentary committee

We begin with inquiries from Tory Member of Parliament the committee chair, that leads the group.

She opens by providing context to the unauthorized memo prepared by Michael Prescott and published in a national newspaper.

"It is not my wish for the British Broadcasting Corporation slanting this way or that way, My only wish is for it balanced, fair and fair," he states.

When asked whether he thinks the British Broadcasting Corporation is institutionally biased, the adviser replies: "No, I do not. Let's be clear, tons of stuff the BBC does is world class - encompassing informative and fictional shows."

Nevertheless, he states: "There exists significant effort that needs to be done at the BBC."

A further previous consultant BBC specialist questioned by the group, Caroline Daniel, states she regards the British Broadcasting Corporation extremely earnestly and that it maintains a "persistent practice and lively discussion" on fluid and multifaceted topics.

"Was the BBC prepared to conduct a proper conversation and exchange and implement changes?" she asks herself. "In my view, affirmative, they were."
